Close To My Heart Borders – Australasian Blog Hop

A Happy Hello and welcome aboard our Borders Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Lauren Moore- CTMH Craftings then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post

The things I love about clear stamps is that you can manipulate them to be a slightly different shape than they intended to be.

And well sometimes with border stamps because they are long & thin, it is easier to manipulate then into curve then keeping them straight.

What I also love about borders (no matter if they are stamped images, die cuts or digital cuts) they help form a feature to your papercraft project.

So with that in mind I created this card using the Scalloped Border from the Dainty Patterns Stamp Set & not only curved it, but fussy cut it out so you could reveal the pattern paper underneath.

I first stamped the curved Scalloped Border onto white daisy cardstock & then fussy cut out the Scalloped Border. I stamped daisy bunch from the Daisy Daisy stamp set, twice & coloured in the flowers with the TriBlend™ Markers & fussy cut them out.

I had to work out if I wanted the flowers above or below the curved Scalloped Border & if which pattern paper I wanted, once I did that I added another border from the Daisy Daisy stamp set around the edge of the card front.& finished off with a sentiment from the It’s the Little Things—Cardmaking Stamp set.

The theme was to create with borders and what I love about the clear stamps is that you can curve them which is perfect for this scalloped border stamp from Close To My heart Dainty Patterns. #ctmh #closetomyheart #stamping #papercraft #craft #daisy #flowercard
