Let’s Get Geometrical – CTMH Technique Blog Hop

Welcome to this month’s Technique Blog Hop where we the theme is to “Let’s Get Geometrical” with Close To My Heart products.

If you have arrived here from Tamara Sandwisch then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today we focus on a Geometric Shape/Pattern to enhance our artwork. When this theme came up my mind went right to the Geometric Circle Digital Art. I have been meaning to use this for a project since it was released & with this theme it is the perfect time to use it.

I cut out three Geometric Circle Digital Art from white daisy cardstock & placed behind the Circle Windows Slimline Thin Cuts die. I then cut some flowers from the Cricut® Love Each Day Collection & the Sawyer Digital Art Collection. I stamped a thank you from the For All Occasions stamp set. The Geometric Circle Digital Art works perfectly on this card & I look forward to using it on a different project.

For my next idea I created the Geometric Pattern from an overlay from the Cricut® Artbooking Collection.

I cut it so that it fit the width of the card. I added some Sawyer Paper above & below it & a strip of Glacier. I cut out a hanging pot from the Cricut® Flower Market Collection. I stamped some of the cacti from the Succa for You stamp set & the Wishing You Well from the For All Occasions stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed my interpretation of the Let’s Get Geometrical theme, I would love for you to leave a comment before you head on over to Michelle Johns to get more Let’s Get Geometrical ideas

  1. Great cards. The slimline card has such a WOW factor when you put that geometric circle behind it. I am going to have to get that shape and play.
