Anything Goes – CTMH Technique Blog Hop

Welcome to this month’s Technique Blog Hop where we the theme is to “Anything Goes” with Close To My Heart products.

If you have arrived here from Brandi Robinson then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

So I hard time choosing what my favourite technique is, I even looked at what I have created over the years to see if I went back to a certain technique again & again, but I like to play with lots of different techniques as it helps make a certain stamp look very different from the last time you used it. So I thought I would focus on creating backgrounds using different techniques & see where I went from there. So with that in mind I hope you like this idea for “Anything Goes

My first background is a simple Distress Oxide Ink with some water splatters.

For this background it was actually created from the left over gloss spray on a stencil which I pressed onto some scrap card & realised it was to pretty to toss so I have finally used it with this butterfly card.

And I pulled out a different stencil this time to use ink & glitter paste. I also stamped the two smaller butterflies on some distress oxide with water splatter offcuts to go with the other three that were stamped on pattern paper. I added a touch of the same distress oxide ink to tie them together.

I had fun creating all these cards & Iโ€™d love for you to leave a comment before you head on over to Lauren Moore to get more Anything Goes ideas.

If you like to get any of the products that I have used in this project, please contact your Close To My Heart Consultant or if you do not have a consultant & are an Aussie, I would love for you to place an order with me on my website

Till Next time
See you soon
