I love that Close To My Heart is now offering larger paper collections in the core catalogue. That means that the paper collection is not only larger (12 sheets, instead of 6 sheets of double-sided designs) but it will be there for you to purchase for a full 12 months. One of these core collections is the Party Time Paper Collection and it makes perfect sense as there is always someone’s birthday every day all year round.

i love that this paper collection is party themed but there are still some generic prints that you could use for anything. I went with the party themed for my creations.

For my first card I played with some mixed media for the background & had fun turning the cute Garden Gnomes into a party guy by adding a balloon from the A Wild Bunch stamp set.

I used the Party time paper & some stickers to form the rest of the backgrounf.

On my next card I played around with a design to show off the party time paper & added a party hat sticker to my penguin.

It was a fun card to create & is so bright & happy,
