Close To My Heart Stitched Together Australasian Blog Hop

Australasian Blog Hop

A Happy Hello and welcome aboard our Stitched Together Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Danielle Edwards – Scrappychicks then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

The Stitched Together Paper Collection is a mix of floral images that can easily be used for quilting or sewing themed scrapbook layouts. It has pops of bright colours such Candy Apple & Sapphire with the softer colours of Peach & Mint.

My first project is a 12″ x 12″ Scrapbook Layout, based off the a scrapbook layout that Close To My Heart done for a virtual event for Mothers Day.

I used a a mixed of fussy cutting the floral paper of flowers & butterflies with the sticker sheet for more flowers & leaves.

I added some some stamped stitches to the layout & created some watercolour effects with the Strokes of an Artist using Mink Ink. To create my Title I used a sentiment from the Stitched Together Cardmaking to go with the Good Times sticker sheet & added some markers to the white foam alphabet stickers. I replaced the dot in the i with a flower bud sticker.I softened the lighter side of the Lemonade cardstock by adding a layer of vellum, which was also used as part of a cluster under the photo mat.

To get more photos & extra journalling space I added a Flip Flap.

I had lots of fun creating this layout with Stitched Together Paper Collection and I would love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Doreen Watkins

Enjoy the hop & thanks so much for taking the time to check out these ideas with this month’s feature.

Til next time, see you soon & keep creating!
