Close To My Heart Aurora Australasian Blog Hop

Australasian Blog Hop

A Happy Hello and welcome aboard our Aurora Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Danielle Edwards – ScrappyChick then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

The colour combination in the Aurora Paper Collection is so pretty & while this is perfect for outdoors due to the sticker collection, I have had fun creating with this paper in different ways too.

My first project is a 8½” x 11″ scrapbook Layout. I loved the lurples & dark blues that were in one of the pattern papers, but I knew I did not want the pine trees.

I created these flowers a while back to have some fun with mixed media & when I seen them next to the paper I knew I had to create a layout with them. See close up of the texture on the flowers & well they work with the papers

I added some stickers from the sticker sheet & some hearts from the Aurora Acrylic Shapes to tie it all together – I loved how it all came together & looks.

My next project I decided to make a card & well seeing it is an outdoorsy type paper & about nature, why not use the Sweet Hummingbird.

I used both sides of the paper & a zip strip & coloured the bird in markers to match & co-ordinate & added Best Wishes from the Stamp of the Month time to Celebrate.

I had lots of fun creating with Aurora Paper Collection and I would love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Doreen Watkins

Enjoy the hop & thanks so much for taking the time to check out these ideas with this month’s feature.

Til next time, see you soon & keep creating!
Maz
