Close To My Heart Hey Handsome – Australasian Blog Hop

A Happy Hello and welcome aboard our Hey Handsome Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

We all have special men in our life that we love & want to include in our Scrapbook layouts or even make cards for. And while I myself have no issues with using pinks or even flowers in my Masculine Scrapbook page layouts or cards, sometimes you just want to create distinctly masculine layouts & card you probably find fewer ideas and less inspiration then you would for girly layouts. And guess what the Close To My Heart Hey Handsome collection is perfect just for that.

My first project came about as I needed to scrap a couple of extra photos & I found Pocket Plus™ Memory Protectors™ Design 2 in my stash & thought it would be something different to add to the Scrapbook.

I thought I would create mini layouts for each pocket but use the paper & stickers instead of the pocket cards.

I used the Pine, Paprika, Mink strip pattern paper & cut two 4″ × 6″ pieces & decorated with some Hey Handsome Stickers & some paper scraps to create mini layouts for a couple of 3″ × 4″ photos. I forgot how quick it is to put together pocket pages for layouts so I should try & do more of these.

I also found a 6″ x 6″ Memory Protectors™ that was perfect to add this extra single photo that was taken just because.

I cut the Harbour diamond pattern to be 5.5″ x 5.5″ & added it to a 6″ x 6″ White Daisy base & decorated with some Hey Handsome Stickers & some paper scraps & a washi sticker.

And because I just love working with the Hey Handsome Collection, I also created a 12″ x 12″ layout. I have 4 photos for this one, but need to hunt down my 6″ x 4″ flip Flaps that I must have put in a safe place as I cannot find them.

For this one I used black cardstock as the base & cut down that gorgeous Pine patten paper to be 11.5″ x 11.5″. I kept this very simple & cut out Lunch Life from the logo pattern paper as the photos are for a birthday lunch & added a strip of Paprika & stamped Celebrating you & So this happened & a date label in black ink & finished off with the flag stickers, a washi sticker & Black enamel Stars plus some Journaling Strip Stickers.
