One Stamp Set – A bunch of Stamptacular ideas

Seeing that this month we have a Stamptacular stamp sale on, I thought I would share today 3 Stamptacular ideas that I crafted using the In Full Bloom—Cardmaking stamp set.

This stamp set also comes with a rather unique thin cut die which you can only get with the In Full Bloom—Cardmaking Stamp + Thin Cuts set. The thin cut die cuts out the middle of the card allowing you to stamp the image above & below to have a focus point. I did create one card with this die but I wanted to share with you some ideas without the die, in case it sells out as this set is in the Stamptacular sale

So the first card features the thin cut die which cuts out the centre window, allowing enough room around the window for the stamp set. For this one I did some more stamping & some fussing cutting.

I used my tri-blend markers to colour in the flowers & foam tape to pop up the flowers that I wanted to have more dimension. I really liked how this card came together.

On this card I embossed with gold & used some distressed ink to cover it.

And as distress ink lightens when you add water I painted inside the leaves & flowers with water & then added a final touch of clear shimmer to it. Instead of the cut out middle I have a scallop circle die popped up on 3D foam tape.

On my next card I did a monochrome look with Harbour Ink & white daisy.

I decided to turn the stamp image around so that they were the opposite direction from what they were intended. I love the look of this simple card.

So the next lot of ideas come from Close To My Heart , you will see these as examples under the In Full Bloom—Cardmaking stamp set on the website.

This card just uses the image once & is coloured in with watercolour pencils with some added splatter.

The top of the paper is torn & is mattered onto some In Full Bloom Pattern Paper (no longer available), the label is stamped with a sentiment & some bitty sparkles have been added along with some Silver Embellishing Thread

For the next idea they changed the orientation of the card & coloured in the design with watercolour pencils.

The same idea was used on the other design, just with a brighter yellow & a different sentiment inside.

Hope you enjoyed these ideas on the In Full Bloom—Cardmaking stamp set that is part of the Stamptacular stamp sale from now until 30 Jun 2022, you can enjoy simply Stamptacular savings on our high quality My Acrylix® stamp sets and our Stamp + Thin Cuts sets—including five exclusive stamp sets designed just for this sale!

Close To My Heart: Hope & Kindness collection Australasian Blog Hop

For this National Scrapbooking Month Close To My Heart created this gorgeous Hope & Kindness collection. So I scrapbooked with this collection – yes I know I normally makes cards, I did makes some with this collection as well as it was too pretty not too, but I am sharing some scrapbooking today! I hope you enjoy what I created with it as I had a lot of fun using it.

For this first layout, I used a bunch of the patterns papers & cardstock to form triangles to draw attention to the photo, which I will add once printed.

I stamped the Brush Strokes stamp set in Mink Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad so that it appears to be peeking out from under the triangles. I used the Embroidered Borders in Charcoal Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad to make it look like I added stitching. I fussy cut some to the flowers & tucked them in between the layers of the triangles. I cut out First Mother’s Day using the Cricut & stamped Enjoy this moment & Oh Happy Day from the In Full Bloom—Cardmaking stamp set.

The next layout I mixed the Hope & Kindness collection with the As You Grow Paper Collection to create this Welcome Home Baby Scrapbook layout.

The scrapbook based is one of the Hope & Kindness Coordinating Cardstock, it looks like kraft cardstock that has been painted with white paint or gesso. I thought it was perfect to draw attention to the middle of the layout. I used sticker strips & cut up pattern paper strips of the pattern paper up the top & bottom and to layer under the main photo area. I stamped the Embroidered Borders amongst the paper & stickers. I cut out Sweet with the Cricut & another Sweet was stamped. The photo placement has vellum under it so you can see some of the paper & sticker strips.

I enjoyed creating both of these scrapbook layouts, I hope you liked these ideas & will get some inspiration.

I thought for this I would focus on tone on tone stamping & sanding to create a gunged up look for my card.

I randomly stamped images from the Level Up stamp set in Harbour ink onto Harbour cardstock. I then sanded the cardstock lightly to revel the whit core & to give the background some texture.

I stamped one of the game controls in Charcoal Ink onto Charcoal cardsock & cut it out. I stamped the saying onto French Vanilla & used the medium stitched rectangle & popped that up onto 3D foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed my interpretation of the Creative with Cardstock theme, I would love for you to leave a comment before you head on over to Darlys Recker to get more Creative with Cardstock ideas

If you have arrived here from Lauren Moore then you are in the right place.

This month we are incorporating stencils into our artwork, I did consider using a Thin Cut die or even using the Cricut to cut one out but decided to use one of the ones that we have avaialbe.

I used the leaf stencil from Card Front Stencil Pack 2 – I really like this stencil. I thought I would combine it with even more leaves from the Sprigs & Sentiments Stamp set.

I started with my background I sponged the stencil with a mixture of Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide™ Ink & Peeled Paint Distress Oxide™ Ink. I then stamped my leaves & coloured them in assorted green TriBlend™ Markers.

I hope you enjoyed my interpretation of the Stunning Stencils theme, I would love for you to leave a comment before you head on over to Haley Dyer to get more Stunning Stencils ideas

Close To My Heart: Sawyer Collection Australasian Blog Hop

Australasian Blog Hop

A Happy Hello and welcome aboard our Sawyer Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Danielle Edwards – Scrappy Chicks then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

So I think my favourite pattern in this collection is the random abstract flowers print. So I had to use that one first.

So I choose a pattern that allow you to see mot of that pattern & added a zip strip & the Mint pattern paper. I used one of my inner inverted scallop circle from the Circle Windows Slimline Thin Cuts – you get three of these each time you use this die so why not use them! I stamped one of the Meowgical Caticorns & coloured in with the TriBlend™ Markers that matched the colours in the pattern paper

For my next idea I really wanted to use the banner pattern paper. So of course I turned it into a birthday card.

I stamped the Happy Cake Day in a variety of coloured inks & stamped Happy Cake Day over it. This was cut our using the Circle Shaker Window Thin Cuts. I cut out a banner from the Harbour pattern paper to tie with Harbour mat.

Both cards were fun to create & I used some nice simple designs that really do show off the pattern paper. I hope you enjoyed what I created.
